LONDON, KY (February 23, 2023)- Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Detective Robert Reed is investigating an armed robbery which occurred on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at approximately 11:00 P.M..
Allegedly, a lone gunman described as a black male armed with a pistol entered Benge’s Market on KY 229, approximately 9 miles south of London.
The gunman fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect vehicle left headed southbound on KY 229.
