RICHMOND, KY – The Kentucky State Police (KSP) is reporting that Richmond KSP Post 7 is conducting a death investigation after a deceased male was located outside of a residence in Madison County. KSP Richmond Post received a call on Saturday, December 24, 2022 just before 2:00 P.M. where the caller advised a possible deceased male had been located.
KSP Post 7 Troopers, Detectives and the Madison County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene. The initial investigation indicates Darryl Jones, 37 years of age of Richmond was located outside of a residence on Charlie Abney Road in Madison County.
The cause of death is under investigation; however, foul play is not suspected.
An autopsy will be performed at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Frankfort.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by Detective Johnathan Walls.
