LONDON, KY (ClayCoNews) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Josh Velasco along with K-9 Deputy Brian France arrested Janice Martin age 64 of Bellevue, Florida on Wednesday afternoon November 23, 2022 at approximately 4:32 PM.
The arrest occurred on I–75 approximately 3 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury traffic crash there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies interviewed the drivers of both vehicles and determined that the driver of a blue Nissan Versa that had allegedly merged over striking another vehicle was under the influence.
Janice Martin was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
