JESSAMINE, KY (October 22, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that the subject that was transported for treatment of injuries has succumbed to their injuries.
The initial investigation indicates that the Nicholasville Police Department responded to a suicidal subject at a residence on Green Street and was confronted by an armed individual.
The investigation remains ongoing by KSP Post 7.

Jessamine, Ky. (October 22, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police have been requested by the Nicholasville Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred on October 22, 2022, just before 1:30 p.m. in Jessamine County.
KSP Post 7 (Richmond) Troopers and Detectives, and the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT), responded to the scene. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A male subject was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
