BEATTYVILLE, KY (September 13, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that KSP Post 7, is asking for the public’s assistance with locating Logan S. Reed, 33 years old of Richmond, KY.
Reed is a person of interest involving an ongoing death investigation in Lee County.
Reed is believed to be armed and dangerous.

Beattyville, Ky. (September 12, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post is continuing to investigate human skeletal remains that were located in a burned structure on KY-52 W in Lee County on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, the State Medical Examiner's Office has identified the remains as Tamika L. Mcdaniel, 52 years old of Beattyville, KY. Anyone with information pertaining to this investigation is asked to contact KSP Post 7 at 859.623.2404.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detective Anthony Bowling.

Beattyville, Ky. (September 7, 2022) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted just after 9:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in reference to possible human remains discovered in Lee County.
The initial investigation indicates human skeletal remains were located in a burned structure on KY-52 W. The remains were removed by the Lee County Coroner and will be transported to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort for identification.
