LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Jake Miller arrested Clifford Ryan Cavanough age 57 of London on Thursday morning October 7, 2021 at approximately 11:11 AM.
The arrest occurred off Barbourville Road, approximately 6 miles South of London after Deputy Miller was dispatched to a complaint that a male subject had broken windows out of a residence there.
Upon arrival at the scene Deputy Miller located the suspect armed with a shotgun.
After being told to drop the weapon several times the suspect finally laid it down.
An investigation was conducted and this subject was determined to be under the influence.
Clifford Ryan Cavanaugh was charged with:
- Menacing
- Alcohol intoxication
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
