LONDON, KY (October 3, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Deputy Dylan Messer arrested Jason D. Smith age 43 of London on Friday night October 1, 2021 at approximately 7:40 PM.
The arrest occurred off Gumm Road, approximately 2 miles north of London after this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court
Jason D. Smith was also charged on three Clay County Circuit Court warrants charging:
- Failure to appear in court
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
