LONDON, KY (August 24, 2021) - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: Laurel County Sheriff John Root and Deputies are going green.
As of Monday, August 23, 2021 some changes were made throughout Laurel County in vehicles, and uniforms by the LSO staff .
The stripe package on marked patrol vehicles has changed to green.
In addition, uniforms are now:
- Tan shirts
- Green pants
- Green campaign hats
- A brand new round shoulder patch
Sheriff John Root (right) stated:
“The good news is, NO COST TO TAXPAYERS! All purchased with seizure monies! Same professional service, just a different color!”
