LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner arrested Cody Taylor age 28 of Manchester on Tuesday morning December 15, 2020 at approximately 9 AM.
The arrest occurred on East Laurel Road, approximately 4 miles east of London following a traffic stop conducted on a gray Chevrolet Impala traveling at a high rate of speed along the roadway there.
During the traffic stop the driver was determined to be under the influence and operating on a DUI suspended license.
In addition, the vehicle was improperly registered.
Cody Taylor was charged with:
- Speeding 18 mph over the limit
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense
- Driving on DUI suspended license – first offense
- Failure to wear seatbelts
- No registration plates
- Improper registration plate
- Failure of owner to maintain required insurance – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
