LONDON, KY (June 22, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Hunter Disney arrested Joseph Wombles aged 27 of London on Thursday evening June 18, 2020 at approximately 7:32 PM.
The arrest occurred off Money Road, approximately 8 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a possible assault there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that allegedly this subject had struck a female in the face.
Deputies noted red marks on the female victim’s cheek.
Joseph Wombles was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
