Teen that allegedly fled scene of 2 Trespass Complaints off Jaw Road located in London, Kentucky

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy James Fox along with Sgt. John Inman and Deputy Landry Collett arrested Hart Rodney Merida age 18 of East Bernstadt early Tuesday morning April 28, 2020 at approximately 5:01 AM.

The arrest occurred on North Mill St. in London as deputies continued to investigate a disturbance and trespass complaint at a residence off Jaw Road, approximately 5 miles north of London.

The suspect had reportedly created a disturbance on two separate occasions but fled the scene off Jaw Road before deputies arrival at the complaints.

Deputies located the suspect in London driving a silver colored Hyundai Elantra with no operator's license.

Hart Rodney Merida was charged with:

  • Criminal trespass – third-degree
  • No operator's license

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
