LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston along with Sgt. John Inman and Deputy James Fox arrested Donnie L. Messer age 45 of London early Friday morning April 24, 2020 at approximately 1:08 AM.
The arrest occurred off Willie Green Road, approximately 6 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located a black colored Nissan Altima locating an occupant who appeared to be passed out.
Deputies were finally able to awaken the occupant and conducted an investigation determining that he was under the influence.
In addition, this subject was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and suspected Marijuana.
Donnie L. Messer was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Possession of Marijuana
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County correctional Center.
