LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy James Fox and K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Shannon Morgan age 43 of Hyden, KY on Saturday night March 21, 2020 at approximately 11:18 PM.
The arrest occurred off Sasser School Road, approximately 1 mile east of London.
Shannon Morgan was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
- Prescription controlled substances not in original container
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
