LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Jake Miller arrested Erin Michele Whittington age 40 of London on Thursday afternoon March 12, 2020 at 3:44 PM.
The arrest occurred off Barbourville road, approximately 7 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a female subject walking along the road reportedly creating a disturbance in the area there.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies located the suspect conducting an investigation and determined that she was under the influence.
In addition, this subject was found in possession of Suboxone, syringes and a smoked joint.
Erin Michele Whittington was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
