Man arrested on South Highway 421 for Meth & Warrants

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on March 6, 2020 at approximately 9:15 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Cody Blackwell arrested Ricky Baker, 31 of Baker Hill Road.

The arrest occurred on South Highway 421 while Deputy Blackwell was clearing a complaint in the Big Creek community he came into contact with the above mentioned subject.

Deputy Blackwell ran the subject's information through Clay County Dispatch where it was shown that the subject had numerous warrants for his arrest.

During the search of the subject, Deputy Blackwell located a plastic baggie with what appeared to be Methamphetamine inside. 

Ricky Baker was charged with:

• Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court (Leslie County)
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court (Leslie County)
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court (Clay County)
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court (Clay County)
• Serving Bench Warrant for Court (Clay County)
