LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Taylor McDaniel arrested Thomas Stewart age 39 of London on Tuesday morning March 3, 2020 at approximately 9:07 AM.
The arrest occurred near a business off North Laurel Rd., approximately 1/2 mile north of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a male and female subject fighting on Slate lick Road.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they learned that the male subject had left the scene.
Deputies located the suspect nearby at a business off US 25 and conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence. The subject stated he was high on Meth.
Upon arrest this individual began yelling and creating a disturbance there.
Thomas Stewart was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Assault – 4th degree
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
