Clay Deputy locates subject wanted on numerous arrest warrants at complaint scene

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on February 16, 2020 at approximately 2:30 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley arrested Cloyd Burkhart, 49 of North Highway 421 and Crystal Sexton, 45 of Memorial Drive.

The arrests occurred when Deputy Brumley was dispatched to an domestic complaint on Morgan Branch Road.

Upon arrival, Deputy Brumley conducted an investigation at which time lead to no charges of domestic violence.

The male's information was ran through Clay County 911 where it was confirmed the subject had numerous warrants for his arrest.

While being placed under arrest, the female subject became belligerent and irritable toward Deputy Brumley.

Cloyd Burkhart was charged with:

• Fleming County Circuit Court Warrant
• Clay County District Court Warrant
• Clay County District Court Warrant
• Clay County District Court Warrant

Crystal Sexton was charged with:

• Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree
• Menacing
