Laurel County, Ky. (December 24, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Joey Robinson along with Sgt. Brett Reeves with assistance from Corbin city police arrested Kyle Wilson age 25 of Corbin on Monday morning December 23, 2019 at approximately 9:02 AM.
The arrest occurred at a business off US 25W approximately 11 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a male subject armed with a pistol threatening to shoot another male subject inside the business there.
Upon arrival at the scene, Laurel deputies noted that Corbin City Police had detained the suspect.
Laurel Sheriff's deputies conducted an investigation and learned that, allegedly the suspect had brought a handgun inside the business and flashed it at a male subject there and then had taken the handgun and placed it inside a vehicle prior to the arrival law enforcement.
Deputies noted that the weapon had a full magazine and one round loaded in the chamber.
Kyle Wilson was charged with:
- Terroristic threatening – third-degree
- Wanton endangerment – first-degree
- Menacing
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
