MANCHESTER, KY (December 16, 2019) - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: From Friday, December 20, 2019 to Thursday, January 2, 2020 the Manchester Police Department will be conducting road safety checkpoints throughout the city limits of Manchester.
The purpose of these safety checkpoints is to maximize the safety of motorists during this holiday season by targeting:
- Driving impairment
- Seat belt usage
- Child safety seat enforcement
The checkpoints will be conducted at Hwy. 421 around the old CBS, Greenbriar Road and north Hwy. 421, Hwy. 80 in city limits and the Town Branch Road / Muddy Gap Road intersection.
