Laurel County, Ky. (Sept. 13, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Tommy Houston along with Deputy Gary Mehler and Sgt. John Inman and CSO Judy Morgan arrested two individuals on Tuesday night September 10, 2019 at approximately 11:16 PM.
The arrests occurred off Greg Lane, approximately 5 miles of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies conducted an investigation and learned there had been a verbal argument that apparently turned physical.
The two subjects located there had a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emitting from them and were determined to be under the influence. The two individuals created a disturbance there in the neighborhood while deputies were conducting their investigation.
Arrested was:
Ashley Nicole DeRose age 29 of Lily charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
Che Datillo age age 24 of London charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
- Alcohol intoxication in a public place
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
