MANCHESTER, KY (Sept. 3, 2019) - The City Of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: At approximately 10:00 PM on Monday, September 2, 2019 Manchester & Lockard’s Creek Fire Units were dispatched by Clay County 911 to a fire alarm at Dismas Charities.
Upon arrival there was no visible smoke or flames showing.
With further investigation it was discovered to be a faulty air conditioning unit on the roof.
All units cleared the remainder of the building using Thermal Imaging cameras to ensure there was no other fire.
Units departed the scene with no further incident.
