Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on August 25, 2019 at approximately 2:30 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards along with Clay County Sheriff Deputy Cody Blackwell arrested Joshua Jarvis, 29 of Curry Branch Road.
The arrest occurred when Deputies were investigating a complaint at the Gameroom on South Highway 421 in front of Save-A-Lot when the above mentioned subject locked himself in a garage with an attempt to hide from Deputies.
Deputy Edwards gained access where the subject was located hiding in a closet, once located Deputies gave loud verbal commands for the individual to show his hands.
The individual failed to comply with lawful commands and after a brief struggle the subject was placed under arrest without further incident.
Joshua Jarvis was charged with:
- Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
- Resisting Arrest
