Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on August 21, 2019 at approximately 9:30 AM Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones arrested Sam Abner, 43 of North Highway 421.
The arrest occurred when Chief Deputy Jones observed the above mentioned subject riding a bicycle along North Highway 11.
Through acknowledgement of the Kentucky Warrant System, Chief Deputy Jones noted that the above mentioned subject had an active warrant for his arrest.
Through confirmation with Clay County Dispatch it was confirmed that the subject had an active warrant for his arrest for arrearage of $20,000 in unpaid child support.
Samuel Abner was charged with:
- Serving Bench Warrant for Court
