HAZARD, KY. - The Hazard Police Department is reporting that: After numerous tips Monday morning, Deputy Chief James East located and arrested Anthony Lewis in the Big Creek community at 8:40 A.M..
Lewis was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Hazard Police Department for interview.
Police were searching for Mr. Lewis regarding an active murder investigation concerning a deceased female found in the Bobby Davis Park.
An arrest warrant for murder had been obtained for Anthony Lewis who was considered armed and dangerous.
