Two Manchester men arrested for Drug Trafficking

Manchester, KY - The Manchester Police Department is reporting that: On June 24, 2019 MPD Sgt. Taye Napier conducted a traffic stop on a white GMC pick up on knowledge that the driver was operating on a suspended license.

Upon contact with the driver, Larry Moore, the driver advised Sgt. Napier that he didn’t have his operators license or proof of insurance.

The driver and passenger Darrell Combs, gave officers consent to search the vehicle and persons.

Officers found a small baggie of Methamphetamine on the passenger in his shoe.

After further investigation officers found a large quantity of Methamphetamine in the vehicle along with 2 digital scales and numerous packaging baggies.

Both subjects were arrested and lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.

Larry Moore age 41 of Manchester was charged with:

  • Trafficking in cont. sub. 1st degree, 1st. offense
  • Poss. of cont. sub. 1st degree, 1st offense (Methamphetamine)

Darrell Combs age 49 of Manchester was charged with:

  • Trafficking in cont. sub. 1st degree, 1st. offense
  • Poss. of cont. sub. 1st degree, 1st offense (Methamphetamine)
