Clay County, Ky. - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: On June 24, 2019 at approximately 9:30 Am Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson responded to an accident on Little Beech Creek Road.
Upon arrival Sheriff Robinson observed a tractor trailer partially overturned.
The driver was from Mississippi and stated that his GPS system had taken him down the road, once on the road he attempted to take a curve and the back end of the trailer slid over the embankment dumping a load of lumber over the embankment.
Assisting at the scene was Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones, Clay County CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb, Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards, Allen's Towing Service, Manchester Fire Department and Lockards Creek Fire Department.
