Clay County, KY - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on June 15, 2019 at approximately 11:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards along with Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Jason Smith, 40 of North Highway 421.
The arrest occurred when Deputies received a complaint of a possible domestic at a residence on North Highway 421.
Upon arrival Deputies made contact with the parties involved, through investigation it was determined the above named subject and a male juvenile had been into an altercation.
While being placed under arrest the subject resisted arrest, Deputy Edwards and Houston was able to place the subject under arrest without further incident.
Jason Smith was charged with:
- Disorderly Conduct, 2nd Degree
- Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence)
- Resisting Arrest
