Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root along with Detective Bryon Lawson, Maj. Chuck Johnson, Capt. Kevin Berry, Lieut. Robbie Grimes, Sgt. Greg Poynter, Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Deputy Jake Miller and his K-9 “Gotcha”, and Deputy Jamie Etherton arrested four individuals off Curry Road, approximately 8 miles east of London on Tuesday afternoon April 9, 2019 at approximately 3:25 PM.
The arrests occurred off Curry Road while the Sheriff’s office was conducting a drug investigation following complaints in that area, and also were looking for a female subject on a felony warrant. Deputies located suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, a reported stolen handgun, a glass pipe, needles, and a subject wanted on a parole violation warrant.
