Police in Laurel Co. locate Assortment of Drugs / Cash during Indictment Warrant execution

Laurel County, Ky. -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards along with Major Chuck Johnson, Capt. Kevin Berry, Sgt. Greg Poynter, Sgt. Brett Reeves, Deputy Taylor McDaniel, Deputy Jamie Etherton, and Detective Daniel Grigsby arrested two individuals on Wednesday afternoon March 20, 2019 at approximately 1:07 PM.

The arrests occurred off Ravenwood Estates at a residence approximately 2 miles west of London while Sheriff’s office personnel were executing an indictment warrant when they located the individual on the indictment warrant and found him with suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, suspected Cocaine, Gabapentin, Alprazolam, Marijuana, Methamphetamine pipes, needles, and US currency.

A second individual was located there at the residence and found in possession of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine, Xanax, and a needle.

The two arrested individuals were identified as:

  • Nathan Lewis Hale age 39 of Loretta Lane, London was charged with:
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – cocaine; possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Possession of a controlled substance – second-degree
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Trafficking in marijuana
  • In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging:

  • Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
  • Wanton endangerment – first-degree
  • Assault – 4th  degree
  • This subject stated that all the narcotics were for his personal use.

    Tiffany K. Jackson age 35 of Ravenwood Estates, London was charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance – second-degree
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • This subject was found with a crushed up Xanax on a pop can lid with a needle. This subject admitted using the needle to inject narcotics.

    These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
