Trespassing and PI Arrest on Curry Branch Road / Clay County

Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On March 15th, 2019 at approximately 5:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Ray Wagers age 38 of Curry Branch Road.

The arrest occurred on Curry Branch Road when Deputy Houston was dispatched to a residence where the above mentioned subject was refusing to leave.

Upon arrival Deputy Houston observed the subject on the porch of the residence acting irate.

When Deputy Houston made contact with the above mentioned subject, he showed signs of impairment.

The home owner advised Deputy Houston she told him to leave numerous times and he refused, once the information of the accused was ran through Clay County 911 it showed the subject had an active warrant for his arrest out of Knox County.

Ray Wagers was charged with:

  • Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
  • Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree
  • Serving Bench Warrant for Court
