Drug Investigation arrests at Bald Rock in Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Bryon Lawson along with Detective James Sizemore, Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, and Major Chuck Johnson arrested four individuals after Sheriff Root received a complaint on possible drug activity off London Dock Road, approximately 18 miles west of London.

The arrests occurred on Wednesday afternoon March 13, 2019 at approximately 2:34 PM after deputies and detectives conducted an investigation and found suspected Methamphetamine, suspected Cocaine, Gabapentin, Xanax, Hydrocodone, prescription drugs in bottles that had labels removed, needles, digital scales, and a marijuana pipe. Also one of the subjects had an outstanding warrant.

The four arrested individuals were identified as:

  • Timothy C. Anders age 59 of London Dock Road, London, Ky. charged with possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine; possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – cocaine; possession of a controlled substance first-degree – first offense; two counts of possession of a controlled substance – third-degree. In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license.
  • Jamie Caldwell age 31 of London Dock Road, London, Ky. charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Justin Anders age 31 of London Dock Road, London, Ky. charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Hayden Campbell age 40 of Huff Aker Ave., Somerset, Ky. charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • All four individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
