Clay County, Ky. - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: On March 11, 2019 at approximately 9:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson along with Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones arrested Rickie Smith age 39.
The arrest occurred when a tip came through the Clay County Sheriff's Office Facebook page about possible illegal activity involving numerous individuals at the convenience store located at the junction of South Highway 66 and South Highway 421.
Upon arrival of the location Sheriff Robinson and Chief Deputy Jones observed several individuals inside the store and outside of the store in the parking lot.
Upon running information of several individuals on scene, it was confirmed the above mentioned subject had an active warrant out for his arrest.
