A Manchester man is charged in Laurel Co. on Clay District Court bench warrants

Laurel County, Ky. -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Cloyd along with Sgt. Greg Poynter arrested a Clay County man off South Stewart Road on Wednesday night March 6, 2019 at approximately 8:00 PM.

Arrested was:

Bobby J. Grubb, Jr. age 46 of Manchester, Ky.

The arrest occurred off South Stewart Road, approximately 10 miles south of London after this subject was charged on a Clay District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500.

In addition, this subject was charged on a second Clay District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of burglary – third-degree; theft $500 or more but under $10,000; criminal mischief – second-degree; burglary – second-degree.

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.

On March 7, 2019 this subject was lodged again in the Clay County Detention Center
