Manchester, Ky. - On Friday March 1, 2019 Clay County Coroner Jarrod Becknell released the the Coroner's office February 2019 activity report.
According to the report:
The Clay County Coroner's office responded to 8 deaths in Clay County that fell under a coroner's case under KY law during the month of February 2019.
Two deaths were determined to be accidental in manner and 6 were determined to be natural deaths.
Part of the job as Coroner requires the production of an annual report on fatalities in the county each year.
During the first two months of 2019 the statistics are alarming at the number of cardiac related deaths.
We would like to encourage the public to visit your primary care physician if you have any risk factors or are experiencing chest pain or any symptoms of trouble.
