Deputies investigate complaint of individuals unlawfully inside residence / Clay County

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On February 24, 2019 at approximately 10:50 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards, Clay County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Gabbard and Clay County CSO Kendric Smith received a complaint of some individuals staying unlawfully inside a residence on Ham Hollow Road.

The arrests occurred inside Arrowhead Court, upon arrival Deputy Edwards made contact with a female subject that was determined to manifestly under the influence.

Deputies located a male subject and 2 female subjects inside the residence.

Upon a search of the individual’s, syringes were located on the person of one of the females.

After the information of the subjects was ran through Clay County 911 it was determined that one of the female subjects had an active Parole Violation warrant through the Kentucky Parole Board.

Arrested was:

Denise Collins age 31 of Upper Rader Road was charged with:

  • Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
  • Brandi Howerton age 29 of Manchester was charged with:

  • Parole Violation Warrant
  • Criminal Trespassing 1st Degree
  • Candace Simpson age 31 of Middlesboro was charged with:

  • Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
  • Criminal Trespassing 1st Degree
  • Jeff Allen age 45 of Highway 149 was charged with:

  • Criminal Trespassing 1st Degree
