Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On February 18, 2019 at approximately 4:50 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Gabbard along with CSO Kendric Smith arrested Felix Cottrell age 44 of Cottrell Road.
The arrest occurred when a complaint was dispatched in that a female subject had overdosed at the apartments on Coal Hollow Road.
Upon arrival of location, Deputies came into contact with the female subject that was suppose to be the one that had overdosed.
Upon further investigation into the complaint it was determined the above mentioned subject was the ex-boyfriend and called in the false complaint to Clay County 911.
Assisting at the scene was Clay County EMS, Manchester City Police Officer Chris Curry, Manchester City Police Officer Ryan Jackson, Manchester City Police Officer Wes Wolfe and Manchester City Police Sergeant Taye Napier.
