Clay County, Ky. (February 17, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting on February 17, 2019 at approximately 5:45 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested an individual on Highway 80.
Arrested was:
Richard Williams age 44 of Sterns, Ky.
The arrest occurred on Highway 80 when Deputy Edwards was dispatched to a complaint of a male subject needing some form of help.
While driving up Highway 80 Deputy Edwards came in contact with a group of individuals at Horse Creek Holiness Church, while on scene Deputy Edwards noticed a shoe print on the door of the church like it had been kicked.
The individuals stated the one that kicked the door had left the scene and traveled West up Highway 80 on foot.
Deputy Edwards came in contact with the above mentioned subject at Horse Creek Baptist Church, upon contact with the individual Deputy Edwards determined he was manifestly under the influence and the shoes he was wearing was similar to the print on the door.
