Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On February 14, 2019 at approximately 9:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston and CSO Wes Brumley arrested an individual in the Paces Creek area of Manchester.
Arrested was:
Tammie Smith age 45 of Richmond.
The arrest occurred on Smith Road in the Paces Creek area of Manchester when Deputies was dispatched to a complaint of a group of individuals fighting. Upon arrival of location Deputy Tommy Houston observed a group of individuals assisting the above mentioned subject up the road.
When Deputy Houston made contact he determined she was manifestly under the influence and she gave Deputy Tommy Houston a false name.
Once she was placed in custody of the Clay County Detention Center during intake Clay County Detention Deputy Jailer Jennifer Grubb located a Controlled Substance that was concealed on the above mentioned subject.
