Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Allen Turner along with Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Gary Mehler, Deputy Travis Napier, and Deputy Hunter Disney arrested Scott A. Davis age 36 of Corbin on Wednesday night February 13, 2019 at approximately 9 PM.
The arrest occurred off J Chestnut Lane, approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a theft complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies found Davis being detained by two citizens and found Davis in possession of reported stolen property allegedly taken from a store there.
This subject created a disturbance there by screaming and yelling.
Scott A. Davis was charged with theft by unlawful taking under $500; disorderly conduct – second-degree.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
