Complaint of possible drug activity leads to 3 arrests in Clay County

Clay County, Ky. (February 10, 2019)- Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested three individuals on Saturday February 9, 2019 at approximately 11:00 PM after responding to a complaint of possible drug activity involving a vehicle.

Arrested was:

  • Timothy Smith age 40 of Charlie Sizemore Road
  • Patsy Davidson age 35 of Garrad
  • Shannon McQueen age 36 of North Thomas Branch Road.
  • The arrests occurred on February 9, 2019 at approximately 11:00 PM when Deputy Edwards received a complaint of possible drug activity involving a Gold Mustang.

    On arrival at Charlie Sizemore Road, Deputy Edwards observed the Gold Mustang sitting in a driveway.

    Upon making contact with the individuals it was determined they were manifestly under the influence.

  • Timothy Smith was charged with: Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol)
  • Patsy Davidson was charged with: Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol)
  • Shannon McQueen was charged with: Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol)
