Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston and CSO Wes Brumley arrested two individuals on February 8, 2019 at approximately 9:30 PM while attempting to serve a Crane Creek man with a warrant.

The arrests occurred on Crane Creek Road while Deputies was attempting to serve a warrant for Domestic Violence. Upon contact with the male subject it was determined he was manifestly under the influence, the male subject stated he had been drinking alcoholic beverages and vodka prior to coming in contact with the Deputies.
While on scene at the residence Deputies made contact with a female subject that had approached them, that had swore the warrant out and she was also manifestly under the influence.
She stated she had smoked Methamphetamine and taking prescription pain medicine.
During the search of the residence Deputies located bags of Marijuana hidden inside a VCR. While searching the female subject during intake at the Clay County Detention Center by Clay County Deputy Jailer Samantha Ealy a plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana was hidden and located on the person of the female subject. Assisting at the scene was Kentucky State Police Trooper Logan Gay.
