London, Ky. (February 07, 2019) – On Wednesday, February 06, 2019 at approximately 7:11 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received a report of a vehicle that had struck a cyclist on US HWY 421 in the Burning Springs community of Clay County.
Upon arrival, Trooper Logan Gay determined Randall Eversole, 53, of Annville, KY was riding his bicycle on US HWY 421 in the northbound direction when he was struck by a 1995 Dodge Ram pickup traveling northbound operated by Crystal G. Lunsford, 40, of Mckee, KY.
Eversole, was transported to the Manchester Advent Health Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased by the Clay County Coroner’s Office.
Lunsford, was cited while at the scene for operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.
Trooper Gay is continuing the investigation. He was assisted by Troopers from Post 11, Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Clay County Coroner’s Office and Clay County EMS.
