Schoolteacher facing allegations of sexual abuse involving a student / Harlan County

Harlan, Ky. (January 28, 2019) - Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan Detective Josh Howard arrested a Middlesboro man for sexual abuse 1st degree.

On March 16th 2018 Harlan County Department of Social Services received a complaint of allegations of sexual abuse involving a 15 year old female and Daniel Tuttle. Allegations involve inappropriate touching on multiple occasions while she was his student at Harlan County High School.

Through the investigation, Det. Howard was able to collect information that led to an arrest warrant issued against Mr. Tuttle on January 8, 2019.

On January 28, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Det. Howard arrested Daniel Tuttle (47) of Middlesboro charging him with Sexual Abuse 1st degree. Mr. Tuttle was lodged into the Harlan County Detention Center after turning himself in at the detention center.
