Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Sgt. Greg Poynter arrested an individual in southern Laurel County on Friday afternoon January 25, 2019 at approximately 2:49 PM.
Arrested was:
Kayla Leanna Hall age 22 of Manchester, Ky..
The arrest occurred at Walmart near Corbin in southern Laurel County after Walmart’s loss prevention team detained this subject.
When Sgt. Poynter arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation he learned that this subject had allegedly been observed attempting to remove unpaid merchandise from the store.
This individual was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking – Shoplifting under $500 and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
