3 Drug Arrests by a Clay County Sheriff's Deputy providing Extra Patrol

Clay County, Ky. (January 26, 2019 -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested 3 individuals west of Manchester on January 25, 2019 at approximately 11:55 PM.

Arrested was:

Karmen Daniels age 26 of London was charged with Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Drugs/ALC/ETC. .08 1st Offense, Operating on suspended or revoked operator license, Rear License Plate not Illuminated, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree 1st Offense.

Teresa Tidwell age 19 of London was charged with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance(Excludes Alcohol), Possession of Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree- Drug Unspecified and Possession of Marijuana.

Christian Roberts age 27 of Manchester was charged with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance(Excludes Alcohol), Possession of Controlled Substance, 3rd Degree- Drug Unspecified and Possession of Marijuana.

The arrests occurred 1.5 miles west of Manchester off of Crawfish Road. While providing extra patrol Deputy Brandon Edwards located a Blazer sitting sideways in the roadway.

Upon making contact with the driver Deputy Edwards could smell a strong odor of Marijuana coming from the vehicle and it was determined the driver was manifestly under the influence.

Upon search of the vehicle Deputy Brandon Edwards located inside the vehicle a plastic baggy of suspected Marijuana and what appeared to be a Suboxone tablet.
