Complaint Investigation lands 3 behind bars in Laurel County

Laurel County, Ky. -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Allen Turner along with Deputy Joey Robinson, Deputy Keith Dinsmore, and Sgt. Jack Caudill arrested three individuals while investigating a complaint off Boardwalk Circle, approximately 3 miles north of London on Friday afternoon January 25, 2019 at approximately 2:30 PM.

The arrests occurred off Boardwalk Circle, after two individuals were found with Outstanding Warrants and one individual was found in Possession of Drug Paraphernalia while deputies were investigating a complaint there.

Arrested was:

  • Terry L. Baker age 60 of Robinson Rd., East, London charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License and numerous other violations. In addition, the subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of Public Intoxication – Controlled Substances. In addition, the subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking $500 or more but under $10,000.
  • Brandi Miller age 33 of Litton Town Rd., East Bernstadt charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking under $500. In addition, this subject was charged on a second Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of Prescription Controlled Substances not in Proper Container – first offense.
  • Shanni M. Kazy age 40 of Ray St., London charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – this subject was found in possession of a needle believed to be used for methamphetamine and during the investigation was found with four additional needles and a clear pipe.
  • All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
