Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Allen Turner, along with Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Travis Napier, Deputy Jake Miller, and Deputy Rick Cloyd arrested a teenager west of London on Thursday afternoon January 24, 2019 at approximately 2:30 PM.
Arrested was;
Devon T. Sloan age 19 of London, Ky.
The arrest occurred off Cabin Creek Road, approximately 6 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance there. Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that the alleged suspect had fled the scene.
An investigation was conducted where it was learned that apparently the suspect had rammed his father’s pickup truck several times. Also deputies learned that apparently the suspect had pushed his grandmother to the ground during an argument.
Deputies were able to locate the suspect a few miles from the domestic and arrested him without incident.
Devon T Sloan was charged with assault – 4th degree – domestic violence; criminal mischief – second-degree; wanton endangerment – second-degree.
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
