Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Sheriff Deputy Clifton Jones along with Deputy Wes Brumley arrested an individual east of Manchester off Hwy. 80 on January 16, 2019 at approximately 9:22 PM.
Arrested was Denvard Duff age 48 of West Yeager Road.
The arrest occurred 4 miles east of Manchester. While patrolling Highway 80 deputies observed a male subject walking alongside Highway 80 in front of the junk yard.
Upon making contact with the above mentioned subject it was determined he was manifestly under the influence.
Upon search of the male subject, deputies located what appeared to be Methamphetamine on his person.
Denvard Duff was charged with Public Intoxication (excludes alcohol) and Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Methamphetamine).
