Unresponsive but breathing female found in bathroom of a Clay County business

Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Sheriff Deputy Jeremy Gabbard and Deputy Kendric Smith arrested an individual at a business 2 miles South of Manchester on January 15, 2019 at approximately 7:30 PM.

Arrested was Mary Roark age 35 of Manchester, Ky

The arrest occurred 2 miles South of Manchester at Mike’s Quickstop. Deputies received a complaint of an unresponsive but breathing female subject in the bathroom at Mike’s Quickstop.

While in route to the above said location the manager of the store had opened the bathroom door and found Mary Roark unresponsive but breathing.

Upon arrival Deputies made contact with the female subject and after being checked out by Clay County EMS it was determined she was manifestly under the influence.

Mary Roark was charged with Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (excludes alcohol), Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia (Possess) and Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree (Drug Unspecified).

Assisting at the scene was Clay County EMS.
