Five arrested by Clay County Sheriff deputies providing Extra Patrol

Clay County, Ky. - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Deputy Jeremy Gabbard along with Clay County Deputy Brandon Edwards, and Clay County Deputy Kendrick Smith arrested 5 individuals north of Manchester on January 13, 2019 at approximately 10:00 PM.

These occurred 6 miles north of Manchester at A&B Store at the junction of U.S. 421 and North Highway 11. Upon providing extra patrol in reference to complaints of possible drug activity, deputies made contact with the 5 named individuals.

Arrested were:

Shannon Dodson age 24 of Manchester. Individual was charged with 4 bench warrants for court all.
Bobby Creech age 47 of Booneville. Individual was charged with a Clay County Indictment Warrant for Burglary 2nd degree.
Jason Owens age 41 of Manchester. Individual was charged with Bench Warrant for Court.
Rodney Dodson age 49 of Manchester. Individual was charged with Bench Warrant for Court.
Rodney Wombles age 38 of Manchester. Individual was charged with Bench Warrant for Court.

Once their information was run through Clay County 911 it was confirmed that these subjects had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

Assisting at the scene was Manchester City Police Officer Antonio Dodson and Manchester City Police Officer Taye Napier.
